Dorothy Menker Theater, 9000 West College Parkway, Palos Hills, IL

Shakespeare's Macbeth is a tragedy of ambition and hubris, haunted by the supernatural in the form of witches and ghosts. But while we don't often see witches and ghosts in our lives, aren't we all haunted in some ways? Our dreams, our regrets; people we have wronged, people who have wronged us- all exert their pull. Join us as David Skidmore directs this classic tale of a man who reached for the brass ring and found instead a hangman's noose. Jeff Christian will portray the title role along with a cast of Equity Chicago actors in a theatrical reading by The Shakespeare Project of Chicago, celebrating its 20th anniversary season.
