Restore Illinois Updates
During the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Chicago Southland CVB is here to help keep visitors and travelers informed. Please review the helpful information below:
Restore Illinois: Phase 4
The State of Illinois is currently in Phase 4 of Governor JB Pritzker's Restore Illinois plan. Under Phase 4, many more businesses will be able to re-open and employees can return to work. In addition to industries that were included in Phase 3, businesses such as zoos, museums, theaters, performing arts centers and more are now permitted to re-open under industry-specific guidelines. Additionally, groups of 50 or fewer will be permitted to gather.
Each of the following industries has specific guidelines that must be followed:
- Restaurants and Bars
- Indoor and Outdoor Recreation
- Youth and Recreational Sports
- Health and Fitness Centers
- Personal Care Services
- Service Counters
For a full list of industry-specific guidelines, please click here. As a reminder, the state encourages all residents to maintain compliance with ongoing public health guidelines, including face coverings, washing hands regularly and practicing social distancing.
