Chicago Southland CVB Releases New Brewery Guide

Lansing, Ill. – The Chicago Southland Convention & Visitors Bureau has released a brand-new brewery guide. Cheers and Beers: Chicago Southland Breweries, Distilleries & Wineries is a comprehensive guide to the Chicago Southland’s craft beer scene, as well as area distilleries and wineries.
The 20-page guide features information about the 19 craft breweries in the Chicago Southland area, including flagship beers, events and live entertainment, awards and much more. Listings range from Flossmoor Station Restaurant & Brewery, the oldest brewery in the Chicago Southland region, to One Allegiance Brewing and Brothership Brewing, the two newest breweries in the area. Also listed in the guide are the area’s wineries and distilleries, along with Wild Blossom Meadery & Winery, the first meadery in Chicago.
Information about the Dixie Highway Brewery Trail can also be found in the guide. The brewery trail is the first of its kind in the Chicago Southland area. Six of the eight breweries featured can be found in the Chicago Southland, including Evil Horse Brewing Company and Thornton Distilling and Brewing Co. Visitors will also find a drink recipe, annual beer and wine related events throughout the Chicago Southland and hotel accommodations.
