Meetings and Conventions Will Now be “EVEN” Better in the Chicago Southland

Tinley Park, Ill. – After months of renovating the existing Holiday Inn Hotel at the Tinley Park Convention Center, full rebranding efforts are now complete, and the newest member of the EVEN Hotels family has been unveiled. The hotel underwent a comprehensive $10 million renovation throughout 2020.

Meeting and convention attendees utilizing the Tinley Park Convention Center for their events will now be able to stay at the newly renovated EVEN Hotel. The convention center has 70,000 square feet of event space and 1,500 free parking spaces. It is the region’s largest convention venue and has hosted a variety of both public and private events such as tradeshows, national conventions and special events. Conventions will be “EVEN” better with the new accompanying wellness-minded hotel rooms and amenities!

First launched in 2012, EVEN Hotels is the fastest-growing brand within the International Hotel Group (IHG) family. There are currently 14 EVEN Hotels in the United States and an additional 30 are expected to open within the next year. The Tinley Park location is the first and only EVEN Hotel in the state of Illinois.

Guests can count on a wide variety of delicious and healthy foods that are freshly prepared and stocked at the new Cork & Kale Market and Bar. Additionally, the existing Bananas Grille & Bar will be renovated, with plans to convert the space into a trendy gastropub with outdoor seating. 

EVEN Hotel Tinley Park consists of 202 guest rooms, each featuring an in-room trainer. Each trainer consists of a mounted fitness wall, resistance bands, an exercise ball, a yoga mat, yoga blocks and 18+ on-demand fitness videos.

The EVEN Hotels signature sleep experience is designed with eucalyptus, natural fiber and high thread count linens that create a cooling effect to promote a deeper sleep. The headboards have color LED mood lighting, allowing guests to fully customize a relaxing and calming environment. Spa-inspired bathrooms with clean color palettes will also help create a naturally restful atmosphere. Guests can also take advantage of the in-room workspace options or flexible meeting spaces, including dynamic workspaces in common areas, throughout the hotel.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, IHG has implemented several safety precautions. All “high touch” items, such as fitness equipment, pens, etcetera, will be removed from hotel rooms for the time being. Hand sanitizer will be available at the front desk, lobby, elevator landings and concourse areas of the convention center. All staff will wear masks and other appropriate PPE and will not enter rooms while occupied unless it is a 5-day stay or longer. Additionally, there will be social distancing and capacity guidelines for elevators as well as CDC guidelines implemented for cleaning and sanitation.
