Two Honors for Visit Chicago Southland by Sports Destination Management

Lansing, Ill. – Chicago Southland Convention and Visitors Bureau was honored in the 2018 Reader’s Choice Awards announced by Sports Destination Management (SDM). The Chicago Southland was awarded Favorite Destination for Community Engagement as well as Favorite Destination for Accessibility. Sports Destination Management is the leading publication with the largest circulation of sports event planners and tournament directors in the sports tourism market.

Sports and tourism play a major role in bringing the Chicago Southland’s 63 communities together
and the interaction results in a better quality of life. The Visit Chicago Southland recognizes this and prides itself on working with sports events from beginning to end.
