9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.: Casino
While there is no casino directly in the Chicago Southland area, we do have several Casino members within a 30-minute drive. Choose from the Joliet Illinois casinos or the Trump and Horseshoe Casinos in Indiana. Group lunches are available for your convenience.
2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.: Tall Grass Arts Association/Gallery and School - Park Forest
The Tall Grass Arts Association offers to the Southland area an outstanding fine art gallery and an exquisite gift shop with highly affordable art items. Arrangements can be made for the group to attend the art school and work with the instructor, to create their own work of art.
4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.: Down Time - Hotel
Take a few minutes to prepare for the fun-filled evening ahead.
6:30 p.m.: Balmoral Park Race Track - Crete
Finish off the day at the historic Balmoral Park Race Track. Start the evening off with a delectable buffet dinner. The Balmoral staff will then show your group the ins and outs of betting at the track, with a mini wagering clinic. Finally, the races begin! Not only will a race be dedicated to your group, a group photo can be taken in the winner’s circle.
