The transformation of the hotel began in November 2011 with a full-renovation of every one of the 202 rooms. The Holiday Inn Chicago Matteson Conference Center is located in Chicagos Southland region, and is only 35 minutes from downtown Chicago via Interstate 57. The conference center is located at the intersection of Interstate 57 and U.S. Route 30 with Interstate 80 less than 10 minutes away. OHare International Airport is about one hour and Midway Airport is about 30 minutes from the conference center. Regional commuter rail, Metra, serves Matteson with two stations five minutes from the facility.
