Before “nationalism” was a buzz word for the 21st century, composers from Arabia to Poland to the Americas immersed their music in folk tunes and musical idioms of their native countries. Come listen to the Moraine Valley Orchestra present nationalist music of the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries from various countries around the globe. Free, but tickets required.
