Clean out the ear wax and review your bird calls; we are going to be birding by sound! Up to 70% of bird surveying during migration is done by recognizing a bird call. This program is geared toward the blind and visually impaired as we will be birding by sound only. The Forest Preserve is partnering with Birdability(Opens in a new window) during Birdability Week to ensure the birding community and the outdoors are welcoming, inclusive, safe and accessible for everybody because birding is for everybody.
