WITH FEBRUARY AS RESTAURANT MONTH VISIT CHICAGO SOUTHLAND DOUBLES POINTS

With February being “Restaurant Month,” Visit Chicago Southland, is doubling the points for their three food-themed passport rewards programs--Savor the Southland, Hot Diggity Dog, and Pizza Pass--within the Passports to the Southland rewards program.
Savor The Southland, Hot Diggity Dog, and Pizza Pass reward users points for visiting respective, local restaurants. Users can earn southland swag by redeeming their points. Upon the one-click Sign-Up, passports are instantly sent to the users’ phones via text and email and ready to use immediately. There is no app to download. Passes can be saved to the users’ phone home screens for easy one-tap access. Guests earn points when they check in at participating restaurants with their server. The program is free and available to all. Added discounts are available.
“With 151 local restaurants included across these food-themed passports, it showcases the best of the Chicago Southland in an easy, mobile-friendly way,” said Visit Chicago Southland President/CEO Mary Patchin. “What a great way to encourage both visitors and locals alike to frequent some of the best Chicago Southland restaurants that receive less business during these winter months.”
A Visit Chicago Southland tutorial video shows users how to optimize Passports to the Southland. Additional points can be earned by redeeming a coupon or ordering a “must-try” dish listed in the Savor The Southland passport.
Savor The Southland, Hot Diggity Dog, and Pizza Pass are three of eight Passports to the Southland rewards programs. The others include the golf-themed Tee It Up, the visual-arts-related Artistic Sights of the Southland, The Curtain Call for performing arts lovers, Suds BudsDisc Golf Pro Pass for avid disc golfers.
