The City of Blue Island Light Parade is on Saturday, December 5th. We will have a day full of family Christmas fun! There will be free rides, pony rides, and a petting zoo from 2 pm to 5 pm. The Kringle Mart will have great gift and decorating items open from 2 pm to 9 pm. Mayor Bilotto will be lighting the trees at the park at York and Western at 4:30 pm with the help of the Eisenhower Choir. The parade kicks off at 5:30 pm and goes down Western Ave from Prairie to Grove St. There will be free pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus from 6:45 pm to 9 pm at the Blue Island Park District's Santa House. Mark your calendars now!
