Attending a sporting event is a thrilling activity for all ages. Chicago White Sox at Rate Field

icially summer until you’ve enjoyed a baseball game. The Chicago Southland is home to Rate Field and the Chicago White Sox, where you can take a seat in the stands, look out at the diamond and root on this MLB club. With family-friendly features and amenities for all ages, you can’t help but have a wonderful time at a major league ball game.

Chicago Hounds at SeatGeek Stadium

ugby made its way to Chicago in 2022 with the introduction of the Chicago Hounds. This American professional rugby union team of Major League Rugby (MLR) plays their home matches at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview. If you’ve never been a spectator of this action-packed sport that originated in England in the 19th century, prepare to be wowed by the athleticism of players as you take in a match.
Southland Saints at Moraine Valley Community College
The America
n Basketball Association welcomed the Southland Saints to the Chicago Southland in 2022, and you’ll be able to see them in action at Moraine Valley Community College. The ABA league offers pro-basketball in a fast-paced, family-friendly atmosphere. You won’t want to miss the amazing half-time shows. The ABA dates back to 1967 and has leagues in Australia, Canada, Japan and Mexico.
Windy City ThunderBolts at Ozinga Field
The Chicago
Southland is also home to the Windy City ThunderBolts, the premiere minor league baseball team in the Frontier League. Home games are played at Ozinga Field, which opened in 1999 in Crestwood. With a family-friendly atmosphere and reasonable prices, it’s an ideal summer activity.
Chicago Stars FC at SeatGeek Stadium
Founded in 2006, the Chicago Stars Football Club was a founding member of the National Women’s Soccer League. This American professional soccer team was one of seven
