WITH FEBRUARY AS RESTAURANT MONTH VISIT CHICAGO SOUTHLAND DOUBLES POINTS

With February being “Chicago Southland Restaurant Month,” Visit Chicago Southland is doubling the points for their Savor the Southland rewards program.

The Savor the Southland video is available HERE to provide details on how the program works.

Savor The Southland rewards users points for visiting respective, local restaurants. Users can earn southland swag (i.e. tote bags, sweatshirts, coffee mugs) by redeeming their points. Upon the one-click Sign-Up, passports are instantly sent to the users’ phones via text and email and ready to use immediately. There is no app to download. Passes can be saved to the users’ phone home screens for easy one-tap access. Guests earn points when they check in at participating restaurants. The program is free and available to all. Added discounts are available.

In addition to Savor The Southland, Hot Diggity Dog Pass and Pizza Pass will earn double points in the month of February. They are three of eight Passports to the Southland rewards programs. The others include the golf-themed Tee It Up, the visual-arts-related Artistic Sights of the SouthlandThe Curtain Call for performing arts lovers, Suds Buds for brewery regulars, and Disc Golf Pro Pass for avid disc golfers.

“With over 150 local restaurants included across these food-themed passports, it showcases the best of the Chicago Southland in an easy, mobile-friendly way,” said Visit Chicago Southland President/CEO Mary Patchin. “What a great way to encourage both visitors and locals alike to frequent some of the best Chicago Southland restaurants that receive less business during these winter months.”

Visit Chicago Southland is the official destination management and marketing organization for Chicago’s south and southwest suburbs.
