Join us for an early-morning bird hike as we explore the sights and sounds of our local feathered residents, with special attention to our state icon the northern cardinal and other familiar species. After our guided hike, we will continue the experience indoors with a viewing of Marcia Whitney-Schenck's interpretation of 28 state birds through her vivid art exhibit “Winged Ambassadors.” Enjoy the artwork while observing birds visiting our feeders, blending nature and creativity into one experience. Ages 16 and older. Participants younger than 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult. Registration required by Tuesday, June 2: 708-946-2216. https://anc.apm.activecommunities.com/fpdwc/activity/search/detail/10051?onlineSiteId=0&from_original_cui=true
