Wintrust Sports Complex at Bedford Park Wins 2025 SportsEvents Ultimate Volleyball Venue

Matteson, Illinois  – (September 4, 2025) Wintrust Sports Complex at Bedford Park has earned first place in SportsEvents magazine’s list of the top volleyball venues in the country. This inaugural award recognizes the American sports facility that delivers outstanding resources and experiences for teams, competitors, organizers, and visitors, evaluated on factors such as technology, food, transportation, venue design, and versatility.

Wintrust Sports Complex, located in Bedford Park, Illinois, is a 116,000-square-foot, multi-purpose sports tourism and entertainment facility equipped for large sports tournaments, trade shows and events able to stage eight hardwood basketball courts (or one NCAA Champion basketball court), 16 NCAA volleyball courts and 24 pickleball courts. Amenities include event space, a bar, lounge and arcade.

Wintrust Sports Complex at Bedford Park’s expansion is extending to professional women’s basketball as the WNBA franchise Chicago Sky is currently constructing their new 40,000-square-foot practice facility, slated in time for the 2026 WNBA season.
